GEG has incorporated “Junges Quartier Obersendling (JQO)” into “GEG Public Infrastructure I”, a special fund it manages, for the long term. In this exemplary project, a former industrial plot used by Siemens has been converted completely into a campus providing offers and services for education, inter-cultural encounter, living, and working.

It comprises about 20% office and administrative space for the city of Munich, about 60% of spaces for technical training, vocational and further education, and about 20% of additional apartments. Here, integration, qualification, and initiative – under the leadership of the city of Munich – help create a lively structure for togetherness, including very good access to public transport, only a few minutes away from the city centre.
